Kristina Joss is a purpose-driven operations executive who translates complex stakeholder environments into executable strategies that deliver measurable growth and impact.

With nearly 20 years leading strategy and operations across the social impact sector, Kristina partners with CEOs and leadership teams navigating the most challenging organizational transitions—where economic buyers, end users, and beneficiaries operate with competing success metrics. She excels at creating alignment between mission, market dynamics, and operational reality, building the adaptive capacity organizations need to sustain growth in ambiguous environments. 

Background

From 2019-2024, Kristina served as Chief Growth Officer at GlobalGiving, the international social enterprise connecting nonprofits with funders across 175+ countries. As operational partner to the CEO, she directed $15M+ operations, led organizational redesign integrating four cross-functional teams, and delivered 120% revenue growth while scaling the organization from 50 to 100+ employees. She built the operating infrastructure that enabled GlobalGiving to navigate rapid growth, crisis response (COVID-19, Ukraine), and platform transformation simultaneously.

Before GlobalGiving, Kristina built and led Salterbaxter's North American practice, scaling from startup to $1.3M in client revenue while advising Fortune 250 executives on sustainability strategy and stakeholder engagement. Earlier in her career, she worked with Business in the Community (UK) managing £1.2M in corporate partnerships, and as a strategic consultant with Jaguar Land Rover.

Across her career, Kristina has navigated the complexity of working with global brands and mission-driven platforms including Airbnb, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Meta, PepsiCo, Hilton, and Spanx—developing strategic frameworks that bridge corporate objectives with social impact outcomes.

Kristina holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh and serves on the board of Blue Atlas Project. She is based in Washington, DC.
